Tom Reilly

Tom is an experienced Wills and Deceased Estates Lawyer, based in our Essendon office.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Laws from Australian Catholic University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. He is currently undertaking his Master of Laws at University of Melbourne. Tom was admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer in 2019.

Tom has experience across a range of legal practice areas, particularly in Wills and Deceases Estates, as well as Litigation, Property Law, Commercial Law and Family Law. 

Tom handles a diverse range of legal matters, including:

• Wills and Estate Planning: Detailed examination of clients’ financial structrures, including any assets held in trusts and considering the responsibilities that will-makers have to provide for their family members and loved ones.
• Administration of Deceased Estates: Guidance and support following the provisions of the Will of a deceased family member or loved one; or interpretation of the relevant statutory provisions and precedents established by the Courts in circumstances when a fmaily member or loved one has passed away without leaving a Will.
• Will Disputes and Deceased Estate Litigation: Offering assistance and advice to resolve issues that may arise following the death of a family member or loved one.

Tom has recently returned to the local area to join McNab, McNab & Starke Lawyers, after previously practising at a regional Victorian firm.

Outside of work, Tom spends most of his time with family and friends, or following his various sporting teams.
